About Convention 2019  

Each year AAPT holds a national Convention.   Niagara Falls, New York was  our Convention location last year along with Omaha, Denver & Minneapolis in previous years.  Orlando, FL was chosen for our location this year, because of the beautiful hotel property which is situated near Universal Studios Theme Park, SeaWorld & Disney.  We want you to be comfortable while attending Convention & we want you to have great leisure activity choices!
At Convention, you will attend presentations that are accredited for continuing pharmacy technician education by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education (ACPE).  Presentations begin around 8am with a complimentary morning snack & lunch on us!  Presentations end around 3pm to allow you time for site seeing/leisure activities!  As a Convention attendee you have a discount option to visit Universal Studios Theme Park from 4pm-close! 
We host a Social Hour on Thursday evening with complimentary drink & appetizers & socializing games.  This is a perfect opportunity for Convention attendees to get acquainted.  Because this is a national Convention, meeting peers from more than 25 different states is not uncommon! 
Exhibitor Hall is on Saturday.  This is an opportunity for you to walk from exhibitor to exhibitor to learn about their pharmacy-related product by visiting with the representative.
Once registered, you're invited to participate in our Silent Auction.  Always a favorite for attendees, Silent Auction is an opportunity for you to donate an item that is indicative of your home state, community or pharmacy.  Silent Auction items are displayed during Convention for attendees to bid on.  Fun!  Silent Auction proceeds go to AAPT scholarship.
